Methodology

How The Better Me prepares guides

The Better Me combines a structured exercise catalog with deterministic movement previews. Automated checks keep the data, equipment, and rendered guides consistent as the atlas evolves.

Structured catalog

Exercise names, equipment, target muscles, setup, movement steps, and cues live in one validated catalog. Every relationship uses stable identifiers so search, filters, directories, and guides stay aligned.

Movement previews

The mannequin uses deterministic procedural templates, explicit grips, supports, and equipment profiles. Engineering checks cover rendering, contacts, playback, and stable transforms. The result is a schematic movement aid rather than motion capture.

Guide scope

Each guide records the intended setup, movement sequence, technique cues, equipment, and involved muscles. The catalog is maintained as exercise definitions and preview quality improve.

Safety limits

The atlas is educational and does not diagnose conditions, prescribe training, replace professional coaching, or account for injury, disability, pregnancy, medication, or individual anatomy. Stop when a movement causes pain and seek appropriate professional advice.
